Wi-Fi in homes with Ethernet wiring
If you need professionally-installed Wi-Fi, and have Ethernet wiring in your home, then the following estimates will be reasonably accurate and we will likely not need a site visit to get started.
Please note that the estimates below assume modern homes with common construction materials. Older construction materials and dense objects such as wood beams, fireplaces, radiant floors and lath/plaster or brick walls are significant obstacles for the Wi-Fi radio waves. Accordingly, some homes may need more Access Points than these estimates assume. Conversely, those homes with significant "open plan" areas may require fewer Access Points. These estimates are only offered as guide based on our experiences.

For homes in the 2,500 to 4,000 sf range, the Wi-Fi network will typically require 3 Access Points and an entry-level PoE switch. The cost to deploy this solution will be about $5,500. Here is a sample proposal:

For homes in the 4,000 to 5,000 sf range, the Wi-Fi network will typically require 3 Access Points and a mid-level PoE Switch. The cost to deploy this solution will be about $6,000. Here is a sample proposal:
