Lutron Lighting
Quality lighting is an important aspect of our daily life, and is often taken for granted. Light control is the ability to regulate the level and quality of light in a given space for specific tasks or situations. Controlling light properly not only enhances the experience, it helps to save energy by using light when and where it is needed most.
Lutron offers three home control systems: RadioRA 2, RA2 Select, and Caséta.

Maestro - RadioRA 2 & RA2 SelectMaestro is Lutron’s first model. It works by using the Pico Wireless Remote Control that lets you control all the lights in your home within 100 feet from the switch. Maestro is not compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant and does not allow you to control the lights via smartphone, Apple watch etc. Maestro includes: RadioRA 2 and RA2 Select.
RadioRA 2 is a high-level system that targets from 4K to 7,500 sf. The maximum number of devices is 200. RA2 Select is a mid-level system that targets homes from 3K to 5K sf. The maximum number of devices is 100. Maestro is affordable and less expensive than Lutron Caséta making it an ideal option for starting out with a wireless lighting system. CasétaCaséta is a more sophisticated version of Maestro. The lights will also be controlled by a Pico Wireless Remote Control and up to 9 remotes can be connected. Caséta can be integrated with smart systems through the Smart Bridge Pro or Lutron Smart Bridge allowing remote control via a smartphone, Apple watch and others. This device acts as a bridge between the phone and the home’s internet connection and allows up to 50 different devices to be connected. Caséta is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and it works on both Android and iOS.
Caséta is an entry-level system that targets homes below 3,500 sf. The maximum number of devices is 75. View Caséta products. |
